Florence and Alexandre met as teenagers, students of François Castet for many years at the Conservatoire de Givors in the Rhône. Each of them then pursued their own path to continue their studies, but the duo’s activity never stopped. It has now been nearly 40 years since this duo was formed and has performed concerts in France as well as in Switzerland, Brazil, Argentina, Canada, Spain, Belgium, Bulgaria… A deep bond unites them both in life and on stage, and the refinement of their playing leaves a lasting impression from the very first notes. Their repertoire is vast, with a particular fondness for South American music. It has been enriched over the years through encounters with composers who have written pieces for them. This was the case in recent years with Bernard Piris, Jaime Cordoba, Juan Manuel Cortès…
