Music lover, scene lover and artist with deep roots in Abitibi, Alexandre Picard now offers you a journey inside his heart. Leader of the Rock Abitibienne group Lubik, he brings with him more than 15 years of musical history. Driven by the desire to offer everything on stage and in his creations, he felt at a certain moment that it was time for him to release his first solo project.

In November 2020, Alex Pic unveils Il le faut, a very current first rock extract, adding an insistent melody set on lush arrangements. Accompanied by a music video, the song slipped onto the private radio charts and was selected among the best Canadian new releases on Spotify. Alex was also named Energie’s “iHeartRadio Star of the Month” for December. In April 2021, he released Payer le prix, a single that definitely makes you want to dance!

Recognized for his showmanship and boundless energy, Alex decides to present himself from another angle, in all simplicity. This is why he is releasing an acoustic EP in the spring of 2022 entitled Maison de Paille. A project recorded in a straw house where you let yourself be carried away by your voice and your guitar.
