Australian duo Alex Champ & Nadav Tabak, known as Opal Ocean, made waves since their 2015 Terra EP, captivating audiences with a unique blend of acoustic sounds and mesmerising guitar techniques taken from a wide range of genres. The success of their lead single “J.A.M.,” accumulating 50 million hits online, propelled them to global recognition. Their 2016 debut album, “Lost Fables,” showcased intricate technique and a psychedelic acoustic spin, leading to international tours. The 2020 release of “The Hadal Zone” solidified their industry presence, featuring collaboration with Jordan Rudess of Dream Theater. Thriving, Opal Ocean has played the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi, performed at countless festivals across Australia, New Zealand and Europe, earned an endorsement from Godin Guitars, and released the Fish Food cover songs EP in 2022, followed by their most recent release of a live album in 2023 from their European tour.

With the foundation of a new album in the works, a return to Europe for a winter and summer tour as well as returning to Canada for a special performance, anticipation is high for another remarkable year in 2024.
