Pagliaro is a singer-songwriter and rock guitarist from Quebec. It was in dance halls and church basements that Pagliaro’s career took off in the 1960s. Michel Pagliaro’s experience in recording studios began in 1966, where he discovered a passion for sound recording and production techniques. Motivated by this creative energy, he composed, wrote and recorded his many hits that are still present in both French and English hearts. He is well known for his song ‘’J’entends frapper’’, which was a big hit in 1972.
Although he writes and records primarily in French, he has also written lyrics in English and was the first Canadian artist to be listed simultaneously in both the French and English top 40 in Canada. He is the recipient of many prestigious awards for his work. On stage or in the studio, the journey continues…belting out his rock and roll songs and once again capturing the hearts of his avid followers.

Our second guitarist revealed today, David lafleche, is well known to the artistic community and also to the Quebec public as a musical director in his many television shows such as ‘’Bons baisers de France’’ and ‘’La Voix’’ and as well large-scale events such as the ADISQ Gala. As a singer-songwriter, he recently released his very first solo album ‘’Everyday Son’’ a in the Americana style. We must highlight the collaboration of his creative life companion Marie-Mai who also signed a few songs onto this album. Two other important album co-producers are the American singer Derik Hultquist and Connor Seidel (‘’Les Sœurs Boulay’’, ‘’Matt Holubowski’’). It was in Nashville that David was moved by country sound often heard in his songs which you will have the chance to discover during his performance at the Festival des Guitares.

David Lafleche is a Quebecois guitarist, musical director and album producer. From a very young age, he was surrounded by music. His father, Jacques Laflèche, was a musical director and his mother, Hélène Levasseur, was a singer in the famous group yéyé ‘’The Milady’s’’. He is also the nephew of Gisele Mackenzie Laflèche, a legendary Canadian singer of the 1960s and 1970s. With his discovery of the electric guitar, David left for Boston to study at the Berklee College of Music.
Over the years, he has performed as a conductor and musical director on television. In addition to collaborating on the production and the arrangements of several albums, David built his own studio the ‘’Three House Music Collective’’ found in the Laurentian region and he also signed for the soundtrack of the film ‘’Starbuck’’.
With the influence of James Taylor, an introduction to country music, along with to his passion for Americana, David’s first single ‘’ We Collided’’ became a reality for the singer-songwriter in 2020.
