An additional concert for Satriani

Press release for immediate release - January 31th,2018

Rouyn-Noranda, January 31st, 2018Following the frenzy surrounding the visit of the great Joe Satriani in Rouyn-Noranda and the record time for the ticket sales, the Festival des Guitares du Monde organizers (FGMAT) are very proud to announce an additional concert Sunday, May 27 at 8 pm, still at the Goldcorp Eleonore stage at the Centre de Congrès in Rouyn-Noranda. With this second performance, 670 additional fans will be able to enjoy the passage of the virtuoso on Abitibi’s soil. Remember that this famous guitarist will be with us to present his latest album What Happens Next accompanied by three musicians.

It is worth remarking that this additional concert marks the history of the Festival by being the first additional concert offered since its beginning 13 years ago. For the FGMAT, this extra representation demonstrates the music lovers crave for shows focused on guitars.
